I am teaching a Texas LTC class this weekend. I just received a text asking if I was vaccinated. I responded, "No ma'am. I had a non-symptomatic case back in March of 2021." I then offered to wear a mask during the 4 hour class.
The group included 4 older women. I am very curious how many will cancel. These classes are disposable income for me but what about the next guy that depends on the money to pay bills?
This hit close to home for me. I never thought it would be an issue. Are other instructors getting vaxed to save their jobs?Will the state require all LTC instructors to get vaxed? I will keep you posted. God bless!!!!
Aren’t you allowed to say “I prefer not to answer” — people get to say that about gender SO why not us ? Their is a antibodies blood test, takes 2-3 days to get it back and it verifies you have the antibodies. If you have the antibodies you can’t catch or spread the virus so ….. maybe?
Oh boy..I think I kinda see where this is heading. But y'know what.. It's quite a bit till December 8 and a whole lotta shit can go down by then! We'll see. 🥳
